At Inclind, we were tasked with a transformative project for our long-time partner, Tidal Health. The focus was digitally rejuvenating their Health Focus Magazine, transitioning from PDF formats to a more engaging and accessible digital experience for users across mobile devices and desktops.

Challenge
Tidal Health aspired to enhance its digital presence by moving away from traditional PDF publications to a more interactive and user-friendly platform. The challenge was to create an intuitive, accessible, and SEO-optimized digital environment that could integrate seamlessly with their existing content management system and deliver an engaging user experience across various devices.
Solution
We developed a new Gutenberg-enabled content type, "Newsletter," incorporating a block pattern aligned with an approved design. This innovative approach allowed for a dynamic, low-code editorial workflow within Drupal, significantly improving the content management process. The new digital platform was designed with SEO best practices in mind to ensure maximum visibility and engagement for the Health Focus Magazine. Also, the project prioritized 508 compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA) to ensure accessibility for all users. Hosting and maintenance on Pantheon, integrated with GitHub for DevOps, facilitated a continuous deployment workflow, enabling streamlined delivery of new functionalities.
Key Considerations
- Gutenberg and Drupal Integration: Leveraging Gutenberg as a low-code page builder within Drupal improved the editorial workflow, enabling the Tidal Health team to manage and publish content efficiently.
- SEO Optimization: Following SEO best practices ensured that the Health Focus Magazine gained maximum exposure, reaching a wider audience.
- Accessibility Compliance: The project adhered to 508 compliance standards (WCAG 2.1 AA), making the website accessible to users with disabilities.
DevOps on Pantheon: Hosting on Pantheon, coupled with GitHub-integrated DevOps, supported a seamless, continuous deployment workflow, enhancing project efficiency and reliability.
