Subheader #2
King Crop Insurance, a leader in the agricultural insurance sector, recognized the need to modernize its online presence to stay ahead in a rapidly maturing online environment. Initially developed by Inclind in 2010 using Drupal 6.x, the company's website had served them well for nearly 15 years but needed to be updated. We were tasked with refreshing the site and re-platforming it on WordPress, aiming for modernization, compliance with current standards, and enhanced user engagement.

The primary goal for the King Crop Insurance website revamp was a complete digital transformation that included:
- Modernization of the website's look and feel to meet current web standards.
- Ensuring the website fully complies with 508 compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA) for accessibility.
- Migrating all existing content from Drupal to WordPress without loss of data integrity.
- Improving front-end performance for a better user experience.
- Empowering the King Crop team with the tools for daily rate updates and critical customer information.
Solution
SEO and Performance Optimization
We embarked on this project with a clear strategy centered around SEO best practices to ensure King Crop Insurance receives maximum online exposure. By leveraging GeneratePress as the theme framework, we significantly improved the website's front-end performance, making it faster and more efficient.
Content Migration and Training
An essential part of the project involved migrating all current content from Drupal to WordPress. This process was carefully planned and executed to prevent any loss or corruption of data, thereby preserving King Crop's extensive history and valuable resources developed over the years. In addition, we offered thorough WordPress training to the King Crop team, empowering them to make daily updates and efficiently manage their content.
Compliance and Accessibility
It was essential to ensure that the website complied with 508 standards (WCAG 2.1 AA). We conducted thorough testing of new features for accessibility, ensuring that all users, regardless of their abilities, could access and benefit from the site.
